  • the IMPORTANCE of LiGhT~~~!

OKAY so photography LITERALLY MEANS: LIGHT ARTIST (photo=light, ographer=artist) so n e way it's really important that you as a photographer know how to use light REALLY well! There's lots of ways 2 shoot! Like you can always use the sun AKAed "natural light." also if you are inside you can use the building lights AKA "available light." and then there are lots of ways to make your own light, like if you're rich like my friends Austin and my other friend Andrew then you can buy really nice expensice photography lights, but if you're like me you can buy flashes on ebay for like 85$ or a can light at the hardware store for like 10$

    N e way here r some pix!

So this is a photo by my friend at pratt Austin, this photo uses sunlight!

I found this photo on the net, but this is an example of available indoor light!!!

Here is a photo by my other good friend ANDREW WHITE who has a lot of money so he can by really nice lighting equipment like the kind he used to make this pic!

I know this isn't a photograph, DUH! but it's a painting by Thomas Kinkade and I think it's important bc hes the like father of light or something like that. Isnt it so beautiful?!

  • MorE CooL TIPSSS!

OKAY SO OTHER THAN PHOTOS OF OLD PEOPLES HANDS THERE IS LOTS OF OTHER THINGS FOR YOUT O ALSO PHOTOGRAPH! ONE GOOD THING THAT A LOT OF GOOD PHOTOGRAPHERS TAKE PHOTOS OF IS PEOPLE HOLDING (AND SOMETIMES SMOKING) CIGARETTES. I DON'T, ooop! just realized that my CAPS lock was on! sorry! N E WAY, I was saying, I don't know why really people take pictures of people holding cigarettes but they do it a lot and it looks real good.  here are some of my favorites that i found on google image search, and then at the end is one that i took!

Obviously it's best to shoot these in Black and White!!!!1

  • PhOTo LeSSOn 1: OLD PeoPles HAnds

So, now that I have a photo blog and you know, i'm getting my MASTER DEGREEE in pHoTo, i thought i wuld use this space to like, teach people new stuff about photographing.  Today's lesssion is old ppl's hands!!! Photoing old pples hands is really important, its somthing that we really see lots of in graduate school, esp somewhere like Pratt.  Take a look @ some of these great examples that i found when i googled old peoples hands!

as u can see its really important to usually use black and white or sepia tone as it really makes an important difference in photoing old peoples hands.  also having little kids hands in there too is really good too.

Okay LEAVE ME SOME COMMENTZ GUYS!
